Our Jane Iredale Pure Pressed Base Mineral Foundation has a four in one feature - Foundation, Powder, Concealer and SPF 20.
Its made from micronised minerals Titanium Dioxide, Zinc Oxide & Boron Nitrite and provide water resistance up to 40 minutes. In addition, it contains lovely antioxidants, Pine Bark Extract and Promegrante Extract (aids in minimising UV damage).
Its skin nurturing properties are non-irritant and non-comedogenic which means its less likely to clog pores and suitable for problematic skin, scarring, open pores or erythema/oiliness skin.
The vitamins and antioxidants in Jane Iredale Pure Pressed Base are pharmacetical grade and do not contain any undesirable ingredients such as Talc, Parabens, and Synthetic Dyes.
Jane Iredale Pure Pressed Base create a semi-matte finish and has a silky weigthless feel. It will provide anywhere from a sheer to full coverage look depending on how much is applied.
When choosing the right shade, it depends on the undertone of your skin. For example, if you have a natural pink tones to the skin, we recommend a cool pink toned shade. However, If you have a strong pink tone or redness and would like to have a natural yellow tone to the skin then we recommend a warm yellow tone Jane Iredale Pure Pressed Base.
How to apply Jane Iredale Pure Pressed Base Foundation?
Firstly, apply a primer underneath for example Jane Iredale Smooth Affair. It will smooth the skin surface by minimising the appearance of pores or fine lines. in addition, it allows your make up to adhere better to your skin which prolongs the wear.
Then, using the Jane Iredale Handibrush, you can layer the Jane Iredale Pure Pressed Base to create the look you want. You can do this by applying a layer of Jane Iredale Pure Pressed Base then followed by a spritz of your favourite Jane Iredale Hydration Spray which help to setting the powder and creates a more natural, finished look to the skin. Repeat these steps until you reach a desire coverage.
Each Jane Iredale Pure Pressed Base refill comes in with a cicular sponge. The sponge is designed to keep the pressed powder safe through shipments and not intended for application. If you prefer an application sponge, then we suggest using Jane Iredale Flocked Sponge.
