 Medigauze 8Ply Non Sterile Swabs are suitable for controlling bleeding.Medigauze 8Ply Non Sterile Swabs are suitable for controlling bleeding 100 pieces per pack 10cm x 10xm 100% surgical grade absorbent cotton gauze Highly absorbent Low fibre release reducing the risk of wound contamination Folded edges-prevents loose fibres and shedding   Medigauze Gauze Swabs are made of a pre-washed, fluff dried 100% woven gauze with unique crinkle-weave pattern for loft and bulk.   Each swab is 8-ply with finished edges which reduces loose ends and lint which in turn reduces the risk of wound contamination and granulomas.   The gauze can be used as a primary dressing, open-weave design provides fast wicking action, superior aeration and excellent absorbency; reduced risk of maceration.   As a secondary dressing, the gauze can be used to provide increased bulk and cushioning, conformability, and improved wound site protection. Ideal for bandaging heads, limbs and difficult-to-dress wounds; i.e. – burns, plastic and orthopaedic wounds.
