Description
Directions:
Not to be used when there is inflammation of the ear or if the eardrum is perforated.
FOR EXTERNAL USE ONLY.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE.
5 drops to be instilled with the head inclined, preferably when lying down. This may cause a harmless tingling sensation. Should the Cerumol tend to run out when the head is held up, a small plug of cotton wool moistened with Cerumol or smeared with petroleum jelly may be applied. Repeat as above twice a day for up to three days. Unless the earwax is unusually hard, it should run out of its own accord. If not, consult your doctor for possible syringing.
Cerumol contains Arachis oil (Peanut oil). If you are allergic to peanut oil or soya, do not use Cerumol.
The ear is a delicate organ. You are advised to consult your Doctor in all cases of ear disorder before using any ear drops.
Use within six months of opening.
Do not store above 30°C.
Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
Take special care with Cerumol Ear Drops:
• Do not use for more than three days without talking to your doctor.
• Do not swallow the ear drops.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding
Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before using this medicine if you are pregnant, might be pregnant or are breastfeeding.
Driving and using machines
There are no known effects on driving and using machines, but an ear wax plug may cause temporary deafness.

Keep out of the reach and sight of children.
Do not use in a sore or inflamed ear canal, dermatitis or eczema of the outer ear, or a perforated eardrum.
Cerumol contains Arachis Oil (Peanut Oil). If you are allergic to peanut oil or soya do not use Cerumol.
Do not use the medicine if you or your child have:
• An allergy to any of the ingredients listed in section 6 including peanut oil or soya.
• A sore or inflamed ear canal.
• Dermatitis or eczema on the outer ear.
• A perforated ear drum.
Active Constituents per 100ml: Chlorobutanol BP 5gm, Arachis Oil (Peanut Oil) BP 57gm
Other Constituents: Oil of Turpentine BP, 3-Methoxybutyl Acetate, Orthodichlorobenzene, Paradichlorobenzene
